Winter

The Cucumber Tree
The beautiful white elongated buds are easy to spot this time of year.  This Magnolia bud is shaped like an elegant warmly-dressed white gloved finger, that seems to be pointing out the winter landscape.

The Cucumber Magnolia is one of the approximately 100 species of Magnolia that live on our planet.
